Happy Halloween!

Trick-or-Treat smell my feet. Give me something good to eat!!  The boys went out trick-or-treating for the first time. (Thank you, Grammy and Pepere, for handing out candy so we could enjoy this experience as a family!!)

AJ was ridiculously shy and not into it (until he could ring our own doorbell and say "Trick-or-Treat" to his Grammy) and Robert LOVED yelling "Trick-or-Treat" to all the neighbors.

Of course every holiday and milestone makes me super nostalgic, so here's a trip down memory lane at Halloweens of Pouliot past.

Smile for the Camera!

And smile they did!! I was thrilled when I picked up the boys’ school pictures yesterday.  It’s so nice to have pictures of them SMILING…and TOGETHER….and NOT BLURRY because they can’t stop fidgeting.  Enjoy!

Trick or Treat!

Halloween is a week away, but the boys celebrated early at school tonight. Of course that meant that I had to get to it when it came to making their costumes. This year AJ insisted on being a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Robert of course would not settle for anything other than what his big brother was wearing. (They don't even know what ninja turtles are!)

I have to say that I'm pretty proud of how well their costumes turned out. But I'm more excited about how much the boys LOVE them.

Gerbil Journal

Over the last few weeks, AJ has really bloomed in his preschool II class. They are starting new learning activities including a journal. The classroom assignment was to draw the shapes in their JOURNAL as the teacher called them out. AJ might have heard differently...

Today, his work was posted on the school Facebook page with the following caption:

"Sometimes what a child hears is not exactly what their teacher says. Learning is a process. Preschool II is starting to journal, or gerbil as this student calls it."

If you look close enough, his picture on the left does actually resemble a gerbil. I knew it was his work before I even talked to his teacher at pick up today. :)

That Face!!

How can a mother not love this face??!!

Or even this one...hee hee.

First Day of the School Year

Labor day has come and gone and the new school year is upon us. Though the kids go to "school" every day while Mommy & Daddy have to work, today is the first official day of the school year at Granite Start.

AJ starts his first day of Pre-School II today. That means a whole new classroom and a new teacher. Robert continues in the one year old room for just a couple of months before he moves on up to the toddler room.

Don't they just look so handsome?!
