Brotherly Love

I adore the interaction between AJ and Robert right now.  AJ has realized that Robbie is a PERSON…that he can do things now.  He has recognized when Robbie cries because he’s hungry, when he wants a toy, and when he’s “all done” in the jumparoo.  This moment made my heart smile.  (It always does when AJ voluntarily acknowledges his brother.)  Look how happy they both are!

A Boy and His Bike

We try to spend some time each evening as a family…taking a walk, or in AJ’s case, riding his bike.  He got a new helmet for his birthday and he doesn’t seem to mind wearing it one bit!  AJ decided that he NEEDED to take one very important item with us on this particular tour.  I laughed when I looked down to see what he had put in his basket.  We also stopped down a side street to look over Amherst Street.  This is part of Adam’s routine with the boys.  They look out across the street and point out where Pepere works.

I guess for AJ, there's never a bad time for good oral hygiene!

OVER THERE!!! He works over there!

Beautiful Weather Means Time Outside

Aaaaah spring!  Finally!!  It hasn’t gone unnoticed by the boys how nice it is outside. AJ always wants to play outside.  In fact, it’s a battle to get him to come inside (we usually have to find a crafty way (lie!) to get him to put the ball/wheelbarrow/rake/shovel/dirt/rocks down and get him to come in the house).

AJ's lookout...so he can see what he's missing outside!

5 Months Old

Time sure is flying!  Robbie is already 5 (and a half) months old!  He’s growing big and strong, and continues to be a little love that completes our family.  You can really see how much he’s grown since we changed his formula. We’re no longer worried about whether or not he’s gaining any weight…it’s a remarkable difference!

AJ is really coming around about his thoughts on his little brother.  He asked me to hold him.  It's the first time I got some good pictures of them together.  Look how happy Robbie is with AJ...and AJ with Robbie.

Cuteness Abounds!

They're heeeee-eeeeere!!!  Renee finished editing the photos from Robert's 3 month photo session.  These adorable photos capture the very spirit of Robert...sweet, happy, and oh-so-cute!  In the last three months, Robert has accomplished propping up on his arms when placed on his belly, belly-laughing, holding things in his hands, and rolling from belly to back.  (Actually, he had just turned 4 months at the time of his photo shoot...but the idea was to document his 3 month milestones).

As usual, Renee completely outdid herself.  Seriously, her talents and patience with the wee ones completely amazes me. We really can't thank her enough for capturing these precious moments in our boys' lives.

Here are some of my favorites from the photo session.

How can you not just smile at his smile?!

I can't resist these outfits.

One of my absolute favorites

I just love his eys in this one....and that his mouth matches the socky monkey's mouth ;)

PEEK-A-BOO!!

Just love the "casual" pose in this one.

Even his pout is adorable!

And of course...I couldn't resist a peek back at AJ's 3 month photo session.  Apparently, I have very specific taste in outfits for this age.

Name that Tune!

AJ has quite a repertoire of songs to sing lately.  He can "sing" any of the following songs: "Twinkle Twinkle", "Rockabye Baby", "Row Row Row Your Boat", "Baa Baa Black Sheep", "Happy Airpane You (Happy Birthday)", and the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" (to name a few).  My favorite thing about his singing is that all the songs sound alike :)
